When it comes to relaxing laws around bicycling, Paris, France has now joined the US state of Idaho in allowing bicyclists to ignore certain traffic laws, such as stop signs and stop lights.
Paris has has always been a bicycle crazy city and since the addition of bike shares and addition of hundreds of new bike lanes in recent years, it’s gotten even more so. “Griller les feux” – French for going through red lights – is already a common sight in Paris.
