Evolve Action Sports Park puts a new spin on Denver’s action sports scene

Celebrating its one-year anniversary this fall, Evolve Action Sports Park is also becoming an international sensation. As an amateur stop for the Summer Re- con Tour/Powered by Monster Army and presented by Mongoose, tour riders from as far away as Japan competed for top honors which, resulted in some “off-the- hook” spectating. This was just a part to the summer action, which also included the Colorado Scooter Championships and some great summer camps. Of course, more fun is scheduled for the fall.

If you haven’t been by Evolve, it’s been described as “13,500 square feet of indoor excitement that caters to all things rolling!” This includes bikes, scooters, skateboards and roller-blades. Manager Chris Olivier explains, “This unique, state-of-the-art park is designed to encourage riders to safely practice and learn new techniques.” Olivier adds, “Evolve offers access to the only action-designed Foam Pit on the Front Range, and the only Resi ramp (a soft safety ramp) in the Rocky Mountain region.
