You have until 5:00 pm MST to register online for The Pedal the Plains Ride. If you are interested in pushing yourself as an athlete, or just experiencing the thrill of completing a physical challenge like a fun ride-this is a wonderful race to begin with. Explore beautiful eastern Colorado, meet the hospitable and friendly residents of Holyoke, Sterling, and Julesburg, Colorado.
Don’t worry, you can still take your time and walk-ins are welcome on September 19th to Logan County Court House Square located at 315 Main St. Sterling, CO 80751. You need to arrive between 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. for same day registration. Please make sure to double check the Pedal the Plains website to see if anything changes.
In case you’re wondering “what is this ride?” Here is a brief description: The Pedal the Plains ride is an event that was created to highlight an often missed part of the state: the Eastern plains of Colorado. Riders have three different ride options to choose from which are the following:
- Three Day Tour-Ride to the towns of Julesburg, Holyoke, and Sterling. There will be educational stops, entertainment, and more in each town!
- The Century Ride-Ride 100 miles through the town of Paoli, Haxtun, Fleming, Sterling on September 19, 2015.
- Family Fun Ride-Ride for 6 miles with your family and have a great time. Dress up in a costume and spend time with your family friends.
