USA Pro Cycling Challenge… and Kid’s Challenge Too!

Professional cycling returns to Boulder once again for the fourth annual USA Pro Challenge. The seven-day race begins on August 18 in Aspen, with stages in Gunnison, Colorado Springs, Breckenridge and Vail. The final Stage 7 kicks off in Boulder on Sunday, August 24 at noon at 18th and Pearl Streets.

A team of awesome fans is ready for the Kids Challenge including: Chip Hisle, Christie Wood, J.C. Longbottom, Shawna Kinkead, Kendall Barnes, Bret Berman, Madeleine Bradsher, Mickey Citarella, Brooks Freehill, Allen Lim, Tony & Elize DeBoom, Brandon Dwight, Cameron Taylor, Jim Potter, Bobby Noyes and more!

The parade of racers will loop through downtown Boulder twice before heading up Broadway through University Hill and then out of town on Broadway to Golden and the rest of Stage 7. Don’t forget to bring—and ring—those cowbells!

11-12 p.m. Meet the Pros
Autograph Alley will be open near the start area from 11-12 p.m. at Folsom and Pearl Streets. Look for the team buses. This will be the place to be to get autographs from your favorite riders as they head to the sign-in stage.

12:30 p.m. Race Start
The pro race kicks off at 18th and Pearl Streets.

2-4 p.m. Watch Party
A watch party is set for 2–4 p.m. at Boulder Theatre. Just because the race is over doesn’t mean the fun is!
