IMPROVE HEALTH AND SAFETY. Make roads safer for bicyclists, pedestrians and motorists through education, awareness, enforcement and facility design. EXPAND PARTICIPATION. Get more riders of all ages, abilities and economic status to ride a bike using encouragement, programs, projects and non-infrastructure bicycle accommodations. 1 3 2 4 5 AboutBicycleColorado The mission of Bicycle Colorado, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is to encourage and promote bicycling, increase safety, improve conditions and provide a voice for bicyclists in Colorado. Bicycle Colorado partners with agencies and organizations across the state to align funding with bicycling objectives, craft new bike-friendly policies and practices, invest in trails and the built environment, and raise community awareness about the community benefits of biking. Their partners include CDOT, Department of Natural Resources, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Colorado Tourism Office, the City and County of Denver, Colorado Health Foundation, and Gates Family Foundation.
