Ranked as a top bike-friendly destination by National Geographic Traveler, San Diego County is host to two Bicycle Friendly Cities (designated by the League of American Bicyclists) — Coronado (silver) and Chula Vista (bronze). The annual CicloSDias attracts more than 10,000 people each year. More than 8,000 residents participate in the annual Bike to Work Day. The recently launched DecoBike bike share program will include 180 solar-powered stations and 1,800 bikes.
